Fr. Todd Lloyd

  • Todd Lloyd
  • Parochial Vicar

  • Fr. Todd Lloyd is Parochial Vicar at Christ the King.  He was born and raised in Baton Rouge.  His home parish was St. Thomas More, where he graduated from 8th grade in 1998. He then spent his high school years at Broadmoor High School. Though he had thoughts about the priesthood as possibly being his vocation all through high school, he had other plans when he graduated. He went to the University of New Orleans with the intention of having a career in broadcasting. Thankfully, his time running from God was brief. After only one semester he knew he was created for something different. He applied for the seminary that year, and started as a "redshirt" freshman at St. Joseph Seminary College in Covington, LA (a.k.a St. Bens) in the fall of 2003. For the next four years he studied philosophy and became much more aware of God's call for him to become a priest. When he graduated from St. Bens in 2007, he continued his seminary studies at Notre Dame Seminary in New Orleans. There he studied theology for the past four years. Upon completing seminary studies, he was ordained to the priesthood on May 28th this year. He looks forward to ministering to the Christ the King community as we all strive to love and serve our Lord together. He sends God's blessings  and Geaux Tigers!
