Mrs. Susan Hankel
Stewarship & Development
Susan is originally from New Orleans, LA and moved to Baton Rouge with her husband and son in 2005. She is a graduate of the University of New Orleans and has worked as a residential real estate appraiser for over 20 years. Since that time she has devoted her concerns to volunteer work with schools, churches, hospice groups and here at Christ the King. When asked what brought her to Christ the King she said, "It was the joy of seeing so many young adults and diverse peoples worshiping together, even at the 10:00 o'clock mass on a Sunday night!" Susan's areas of responsibility include the Thursday Lunch, all parish social events, as well the Development efforts of the parish. Susan also oversees the Stewardship program of the parish which takes place at the beginning of each semester. She enjoys, cooking, reading, music, movies, and spending time with her family and friends.
