Jan Dupre
Music Coordinator
Jan Gerbrecht Dupre was born and raised in Baton Rouge. A professional musician - pianist, flutist, vocalist, and composer - one of Jan’s utmost pleasures is sharing her gift of music with the community of Christ the King. Jan has been on the music ministry staff at Christ the King for 24 years. As Music Coordinator, she manages all of the music needs of the parish – everything from planning music for Sunday Masses, Feast & Holy Days, to music for Weddings. Jan and her husband, Greg met at Christ the King 22 years ago. Jan’s greatest joy and highest calling in life is being mother to her two sons, who are also involved in music ministry at CTK and have been since a very young age! Jan beautifully describes how she feels about Christ the King, “There is no finer place to be than one that makes you feel safe and secure and free to grow spiritually as God has intended you to do. Christ the King is that place for me and it can be for you too!”
