Carla Gautreaux-Rutherford
Administrative Assistant
Carla was born in Baton Rouge and has lived in South Louisiana most of her life. She has two children and four grandchildren. She enjoys reading, praying, traveling, going for long walks on cool days, family and friends.
Carla has over twenty years administrative support and office experience in family-owned and operated businesses, state and federal government, and several years experience in the Diocese of Baton Rouge. She is a graduate of Spencer-Draghon Business College, the Religious Studies Institute and the Cenacle of Our Lady of Divine Providence School of Spirituality.
Carla is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to the staff and Pastor of Christ the King. Witnessing the spiritual growth of the parishioners and being a part of parish life is truly a joy for Carla.
It is difficult for Carla to name only one 'favorite' sacred song when we are blessed with such an abundance of beautiful music. Among Carla's favorites are Schubert's Ave Maria, David Haas's Servants Song and The Supper of the Lord
