Confirmation
Confirmation is a program for Catholics who would like to complete their initiation into the Church. Classes are held Tuesdays at 6:30 pm. (Staff Contact: Fr. Todd Lloyd at Ext. 24).

RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults)
This process is for anyone interested in learning about the Catholic faith or for baptized Catholics who have not received the Eucharist. Sessions are Wednesday evening from 7 to 9 pm. (Staff contact: Shell Branscum at Ext. 23)

Confirmation Sponsor
Catholics who share their faith one-on-one in the formation of candidates preparing for the sacrament of Confirmation. Sponsors must be baptized and confirmed practicing Catholics. They attend Confirmation classes on Tuesday evenings, and a semester retreat. (Staff Contact: Fr. Todd Lloyd at Ext. 24)

RCIA Sponsor
Catholics who share their faith one-on-one in the formation of adults for the RCIA process. Sponsors must be baptized and confirmed practicing Catholics. They attend an orientation, RCIA sessions on Wednesday or Sunday evenings, and a semester retreat. (Staff contact: Shell Branscum at Ext. 23)

Households of Faith
for families with children, Households of Faith is an intergenerational religious formation process for those who want to participate in a religious education program. Families will meet twice a month for group activities and faith sharing. Registration is necessary. (Staff contact: Rebecca East at Ext. 13))

Student Outreach Committee
Student Outreach Committee helps to bring the good news about CTK to the University community and invites more students to become active. (Call the Office for more information)

Faith Sharing Group
Small groups of 10-12 people who meet regularly for faith-sharing, study, prayer, and support. Materials and guidance are provided by the the Parish. (Contact: Parish Office))

Retreat Team
Retreat Team helps facilitate retreats both here at Christ the King as well as for junior and senior-high school students throughout the Diocese of Baton Rouge. Requires a willingness to share your faith with others. Retreat team meets with representatives of parishes/schools to plan as well as participates in the retreats itself. (Staff Contact: Fr. Bible Study
Bible Study meets Mondays during the semester and is facilitated by Fr. John Carville. (Contact: Parish Office)

Discernment Groups
or those interested in exploring the vocation to religious life or priesthood. (Contact Father Matt at mlorrain@diobr.org)
Formation Committee
Plans, organizes, coordinates formation events for all parishioners such as Last Lectures, Last Sermons, Dinner & Dogma, etc. Monthly meeting commitment in addition to events. (Staff Contact: Fr. Bob Stine at Ext. 16)
