Social Planning Committee (SPC) formerly the Newman Club Planning Committee
This social organization for LSU Catholic students has a long history on campus. Various on- and off-campus social events are planned throughout the semester. Student volunteer coordinators needed. (Staff contact: Jamie Felarise at extension 11)

Raffle/Fundraiser Committee
The parish’s only fundraising event of the year — the $10,000 Raffle and Gala — members work on all levels of event planning and volunteers are also needed to help decorate for the gala and serve the night of the gala. (Contact: Judy Montague 292-9301)

Parish Social Events Planning & Working Committee
What would Christ the King be without parties? Volunteers are needed to assist with various aspects of the events held throughout the year: Thursday Lunches, Welcome Back Jambalayas, Final Exam Hospitality, parish receptions, etc. Volunteers are contacted prior to each event to see if they are available to help. Coffee & Doughnuts Committee
Coffee and doughnuts are served following the 10:00 a.m. Mass on the second Sunday of each month. Volunteer coordinators and bakers are needed. (Contact: Judy Montague 292-9301)
