Welcome from the Pastor

Welcome to the website of Christ the King Church and Catholic Student Center at L.S.U.  We are pleased that you have shown an interest in our campus community.  Christ the King is open to all but, obviously, has a special focus on the Catholic students attending Louisiana State University.  We hope to be something of a home away from home for you!

At Christ the King, we strive to provide an atmosphere and place where students can continue to explore, question, learn and grow in their understanding and practice of their Catholic Christian tradition.  We want to provide opportunities for prayer, worship, fellowship, learning and religious experience that will further their faith development and spiritual maturity.  Our aim is to be a community of committed disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ who will help further his mission in our world.
